vegetation convers the land.And the life giving oceans are of such an intense blue.

They can clearly be seen by spacecraft looking back at our home from a 150 million km aways.

But these space craft orbit a very different world MARS.

Kathie Thomas said kepta has spent her career studing meteorites..that have travelled from Mars and landed here on Earth.Thes meteorites are quite rare right now in the collection actually only have 250 Mars meteorites

1994 kathie was asked to study a martian meteorites.it was called Allan hills 84001 after the region in antartica where it had been found.

Kathie’s supervisor Dave mekay believed he had found something extra ordinary inside.He said I want you to look at these pictures.This is from a Mars meteorites and He said I think I am seeing evidence for life in this Mars meteorites.

Kathie’s colleagues thought the microscopic worm like structure could b fossile of Martin microbial life.

Kathie,however had a different reactions I thought you guys are nuts.This is a ridiculous.

ROCK 84001 speaks to us across all those billion of yours and million of miles.it speaks of the possibility of life.But for many it was a comtraversial claim

perseverance ,NASA first rover with the primary mission of searching for sign of life began its perilous descent to the surface of Mars.

Mars atmosphere is thin only 1.1 that of earth’s.

So,it does little to slow spacecraft down as perseverance approached the ground the find phase of touchdown began .it was perfect landing.But the same thin atmosphere that makes it so hard for spacecraft to land also makes Mars a challenging place to work.

It means the average temp.is minus sixty degree Celsius.Even more significantaly the thin atmosphere means a fundamental regoirement of life,liquid,water cannot exist.

THAT LOW ATMOSPHERE PRESSURE MEANS THAT A GLASS OF WATER ON THE SURFACE WOULD BOIL OFF ALMOST INSTANT ANCOUSLY.But despite these in hospitable condition preservatance is scouring the surface for traces of microbes.The search for life is on
